Just so yall know, some slavers did the same thing to racialized Black Africans in the 1600 and 1700 as well. Many would be tricked into thinking they would go to school, or work for the ship crew, only to be turned into slaves, just like what many govts do now (especially to children), like Russia.

Does anyone else have a food they hate beyond reason and just won't eat no matter how well someone prepares it? I don't necessarily mean a whole dish, it can be a single ingredient. For some people it's the thing where cilantro tastes like soap to them.

Onions, bell peppers, sausage, pineapple, spinach, and mushrooms with garlic butter dip. Crushed red pepper on everything. I rarely have the money for all those toppings tho😔
