🚀 The Sol Search Kickstarter has Liftoff! 🐾

Today, we're excited to invite the furry community to help bring Sol Search to life.

Sol Search is an original indie animated series about belonging, identity, and power—told from the perspective of those who are rarely centered in animation.

All I wanna do is read about conservation and I gotta be confronted with THIS???

The internet is wearing, I want a book
Conservation article with obnoxious ad of women, with salt all around her mouth, as if she’s taken all the salt off the rim of a giant margarita with her face

Sol Search is a story shaped by lived experience, found family, trauma, healing, & belonging.

We’re building it how many of us found community: together.

If you’d like to help more furry creators tell our own stories, we’d love a share 🐾

A visual reminiscent of a charcuterie board! We have a ‘lil tasting of our story through the title/logo, symbols of the elements, our color palette (leaning into reds that highlight our protagonist’s fire ability and eerie greens of lab experiments). Various characters are shown as well: family photos of Sol, Zipp, and their dad from their childhood (all Siamese cats). Sol with her fire welding ability on display. Sol and Choc (choc being a gruff moose). Zipp unconscious, floating in a tank, undergoing an experiment of some sort. And finally a photo of Zipp and Sol their, obviously well loved, and with a recent burn mark in the top right corner… Sol Search is a story about belonging, identity, and power—from the perspective of those who are rarely centered in animation. Created by a queer, BIPOC, furry, neurodivergent-led team. A few members of the team are highlighted alongside text reading ”Neurodivergent and Queer” Highlights on a few of our incredibly talented folks who make up the cast and crew; including our lead writer, lyricist, animation lead, project manager, lead voice actors, and background artist. There are many more folks, and we could not bring this story to life without them. Our two lead characters, Choc (a moose wearing bagging pants, boots, and a jacket with an anarchist symbol) smiling and waving while holding Sol’s hand (a Siamese cat with a collared shirt, jeans, boots, and her fire ability on display via a flame encasing from her head)

🎼 Just change Coco's "Remeber Me" to "Re-render Me" and you've got an animator’s ballad… 🎶

#telekitneticart #indigenousart If you weren't aware already, this is the unfortunate hand I've been dealt this holiday season: having to job hunt in the winter while a potential recession is on the horizon.

ko-fi.com/telekitnetic...

RBs on this post are really appreciated <3
A drawing of TeleKitnetic's fursona making the shinji chair meme post. The top text reads "I got laid off from my day job", the bottom text simply reads "Bottom text". "After my final shift for the week last Thursday, my boss pulled me aside and told me I'd been let go (termination without cause) with severance in lieu of a two week notice. That day job paid for all of my rent, plus most of my expenses. The severance I got will cover most of my rent + expenses for one month, but that's it. And it's a very difficult time to be looking for a job right now (my last big job hunt took almost three months for a minimum wage position). My family has offered to lend me a hand for expenses if I need it, and I'm going to be looking into options like EI and art grants to keep me afloat, but other then that, my monthly income is now almost entirely dependent on my artwork. And it's obviously a very difficult time to be trying to make a living as an independent artist right now." I know it's a pretty rough time (understatement) for a lot of folks right now, but if you're able to give some money to help me out while I'm trying to get through this rut, it'd be greatly appreciated. 1. I have a monthly ko-fi membership (Tip Jar) where you can get occasional private WIP updates for as low as 4$ CAD (about 3$ USD) per month! This is great if you don't have the change for a commission or shop items/shipping but want to pitch in a little bit to me! 2. I have an online shop on the same ko-fi! It has stickers, prints, pins, and keychains of my formline art. US shipping is available and prepaid duties (tariffs, derogatory) are factored into the applicable product shipping cost. Great if you're looking for stocking stuffers this holiday season! 3. I take custom commissions for formline art from time to time! The reason I list this last is because comms take the most physical and mental strain of all these options, and the last thing I want to do is burn myself out when I'm already struggling. If you can't support me financially, that is fine! Reblogging/sharing my posts, shop listings, and art helps more then you think! A screenshot of TeleKitnetic's ko-fi shop.
