A historic day in Cardiff today.

Scotland, Wales and Ireland coming together to assert that the futures of our nations must be shaped by our people.

If this is still a voluntary union, Westminster has no democratic right to deny our right to choose.

BOB DYLAN writing in The New York Times on being 80.

We’re so used to Dylan being an enigmatic & elusive trickster that it’s always a delightful surprise when he writes something so personal, heartfelt and wise.

I love the way Rone turns the mournful whale sound on this track 'Verba Aliena' into a melody rone-music.bandcamp.com/track/verba-...

The future of Scotland must be decided by the people of Scotland.

To make that a reality the power to hold an independence referendum must be devolved to the Scottish Parliament.

Democracy isn't about having a vote whenever Andy Burnham decides.

I’m Blair Millen and when not designing web things I’m a music obsessive. I share my music thoughts on The Letter.

I love the deeply emotional heave I feel when Zoh Amba’s sax comes in near the end of Myriam Gendron’s song ‘Berceuse’ (it’s the last track from her 2024 album ‘Mayday’).
I’m George Grella, I make music and criticism. On Ella’s 40th birthday concert in Rome, the way a cappella modulates mood and timbre between the first and second syllables of “disappear” on “Angel Eyes” has been sending chills down my spine for decades.
hi, I’m MDonaldson … I am the editor of The Tonearm and once led a strange life as a musician-for-hire

in the Feelies’ “Slow Down” Brenda Sauter plays a single note on bass for the majority of the song and then suddenly near the end she changes it for a single bar and it gives me chills every time

I don't usually try to do any promo for #BandcampFriday but I have just set my entire discography to 50% off. That means for just $8 you get two full-length albums, 3 EPs, and two Bandcamp only singles.
