I've survived chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation for stage 2a #breastcancer. These aromatase inhibitors are just as bad as fellow survivors warned me they were.

Now that chemo / surgeries / radiation are all done, the next task is Sudden Medical Menopause. My tumor was fueled by estrogen and progesterone, so I'm starting a medical cocktail in two weeks:
Kisqali (anti-cancer)
Anastrozole (anti-estrogen)
Lupron (anti-estrogen)
Gonna be a side-effect party.

I have an entire week coming up without a single doctor's appointment. I think that's a first since #cancer treatments started.

so like lemme weigh in on this as someone who is more financially comfortable than many in my generational cohort: everything I have gained seems precarious and temporary because I know the people with real money will take it all from me the second they get an opportunity and no one will protect me.
