In 2012 UK prison capacity was 85000. In 2026 it is 86,800 despite population increase & longer sentences. There is mass overcrowding. Budget cuts have gutted the workforce and there is an explosion of violence.

Since 2018 the number of 'small boat asylum seekers' is 206,800.
Total asylum seekers is circa 600,000
Legal migration 7.2 million.
But once again BBC has people on talking how the policy has failed and we must leave the ECHR etc etc.
I will keep repeating - boat number are small.

HM Coastguard is a government-funded emergency service and coordinating authority within the Department for Transport that organizes maritime rescues. They ask the RNLI to rescue people - so now what they will be required to go out & do a passport check & if the wrong sort, let them drown?

Reform has already enjoyed several years of support from a loss-making TV channel whose main function seems to be to give money and favourable coverage to its MPs. The government has done nothing about this. It's probably a more effective way of spending millions than Farage will manage.
