Recently took it upon myself to make a comic about my ocs as mermaids as quickly as possible, regardless of whether or not it turned out cute. Anyway here's some faces that turned out cute.

Making up constellations 💫

A flat color illustration in a circle of my two characters cuddled into a large coat. Molly (blonde) is pointing up at the stars and smiling, her breath is visible to indicate that it’s cold. Arden (ginger) is resting her head on Molly‘s shoulder and is smiling softly.

GREAT read on how to self-publish the niche queer comic/writing anthology of your dreams. finding your people, editing and curating submissions, dealing with marketing and censorship, being real and kind. genuinely: this is the kind of attitude and work that will keep interesting art alive.

HELLO BSKY NATION. Arden and Molly got divorced in Tomodachi Life. They're back to sweethearts after an endless battle, but the Ex-Wife label has some allure, hm?
#art #oc
A sketch of Molly lounging on a bed, high heels kicked off on the mattress. She's wearing a halter neck dress and would be topless if it wasn't for artful (!) coverage. Arden, seemingly reacting to the previous image. She's wearing a suit and blushing. A low-opacity thought bubble behind her reads "I LOVE MY (ex-) WIFE"

Greetings! This is a starterpack for the Connichi 2026.
I will continue making lists of exhibiting artists who also use bsky so attendees can find us!

If you're also one of the artists exhibiting there this year, comment and I'll add you to the pack!

Digital illustration made to look like a risograph print. It depicts 2 men, dancing together while looking at each other with a certain intensity. Their respective green and pink palettes contrast and complement each other perfectly. Digital illustration made to look like a risograph print. It depicts 2 women, similar in appearance: light brown skin, brown hair, freckles. They are holding hands in a helping gesture, and seen from a low angle, as though the camera were positioned on the floor between them. The sun can be seen, barely hidden under their hands, shining light from above. From this angle, the 2 women seem to mirror each other, as they look into each other's eyes like one would look at their own reflection. Digital painting, made to look like a risograph print. It depicts a monstrous creature, like if a human had started to mutate, their flesh opening up and reshaping itself. The skin on their skull is peeling itself off and taking on the shape of a horrible crown of fingers around their head, and their torso is opening up like a fissure in the earth, a strange black liquid floating up from the open wounds in an eerie way. The creature is shown getting close to the painting's frame, one hand wrapped around the edge of it, as if about to leap out and into the real world. Digital drawing made to look like a risograph print. It depicts an angel, a humanoid figure with dark skin and long white hair, turning their back to the viewer. They have 2 pairs of blue, transparent wings, but one pair is in the process of being sewn together with a curved needle.

MUSE - Introduction 🎨
Part of a comic I made for a zine I'm working on! Screentones and I are fighting. (I am not winning)
#art #oc #comic
The comic opens on a hand painting a portrait. It then shows Molly, the painter, scrutinizing her work before looking past the canvas at Arden, who is reading. Molly's dialogue reads: "Uh... Could you... Tilt your head up some?" Arden seems offended by this: "I don't think how I sit is your business. What are you doing, anyways?" Molly:"I'm painting you!" Arden, now surprised and blushing slightly:"Oh!" Arden, now curious: "Can I see?" Molly is flustered and covers up her work with her arm. "HA!! Nonono, it's not ready yet!!" Arden: "Hm, alright." Molly walks away from her canvas and bends down. "But! There is something I can show you..." Molly takes out a sketchbook and dances over to Arden's table. "If you want. I... usually don't show it, but... Feels unfair to keep it from you when... It's mostly you!" She flips it open to reveal a spread of sketches, all of Arden.

This is not the platform for videos but I'm still very proud of this making-of video of my first ever art zine, "Sartorially,", which debuted at NonkiCon earlier this month.

This topic has kind of been eating at me for a few months, so I decided to sit down and talk about it to no one in particular. Bit awkward, but re-filming over and over would kind of defeat the point. Enjoy!
