Since NovelSnack published Assassins of Aquilara under my real name anyway, I might give up on the pen name. It's tough trying to build audiences for different accounts anyway.

Novelsnack is doing cover changes, so here's the new one for Assassins of Aquilara. I do like the dragon. You can find it in the sea voyage chapters!

Assassins of Aquilara is up to 67,000 words now. I can't wait to get to 80k because my editor is supposed to put in for a promotion. I'm afraid my book isn't exactly what these platforms are looking for, but I hope it gains traction because I really love it.

When it comes to flaws, Ra'Jeem is simply too trusting. He believes the best in people, that things will work out. A good trait to have, but it can be fatal for an Assassin.

The newest Assassins to join the team are Eloria, a tall blond woman from the North, who's all heart, but deadly with a dagger, and Jefor, a brick wall of a black man with blue eyes, who sees humor in everything.

Sneak Peek at Chapter 52: The Stag
The stag just stood there, in the middle of the path, watching them as the sun crept below the trees. As the path grew darker, a glowing mist slowly rose above the animal's antlers, illuminating the forest all around it.

I'm thinking of shortening Assassins of Aquilara. It was originally planned for 200k words, but I'm not sure I can sustain it that long and keep it interesting.

Ever have one of those chapters where things don't seem all that interesting so you decide to completely ignore your outline and drop something crazy into the story? 🤪

Master Assassin Zorrik Vorn is the Empire’s most lethal weapon. Attachments are weaknesses, and weakness gets you killed.
Then they give him a Disciple. Ra’Jeem is far too curious for his own survival. He looks at Zorrik like he’s more than a blade.
