Grand Theft Auto VI, is going to be the death of an industry...

As somebody that only has 2K25, I'm a sad panda.

I did not expect to feel the way I do about Ace Combat 8. Here is my review for it.

Meant to post my Lawn Mowing 2 sim yesterday but I was dead... On the Inside... So here it is now.

This is a bummer, but Grave Seasons looks worth whatever wait there is.

New segment I'm workshopping. It's like all the other segments, exactly like it everywhere else, except that I wrote it... Which makes it better...
New Month - Who Dis? is a new segment here at Pixel Byte, named after less than an hour of sleep, to highlight some of the games releasing this month.

Spooky season is upon us, and while some offerings will raise some hell, some offers this month are cute and fluffy. Come check it out:
New Month – Who Dis? Seven Games Releasing This Month That Should Be On Your Radar - Pixel Byte
New Month, Who dis? October is here at long last. A necessary lull before the storm that Grand Theft Auto VI is released, there is still plenty to be excited for that is coming this month. Here, we wa...

Well, this doesn't come as much of a surprise. I was already not confident we would see Kena: Scars of Kosmora this year anyway. Can't wait to play the game when they are finally ready to release it.

My Silent Hill: Townfall review is live, my second of the day. I wanted to love this game so badly. The first maybe 3 hours are phenomenal, then it starts pushing these bizarre and poorly designed elements on you all the time.

The combat is an albatross around the game's neck.

Remember when it was theoretically possible to 'catch 'em all'?

Neither do I... I'm so old...

Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered is a blast from the past and a great remaster to get lost in.
September 30, 2026 at 2:50 PM
I do love how in complete defiance to the genre, Silent Hill: Townfall protagonist Simon has a hand that comes pre jacked up.
September 24, 2026 at 7:38 PM
So ready for Silent Hill: Townfall! So freaking ready!

My Marvel's Wolverine Review is done. Overall I liked it but it does sadly suffer from some choices. I don't know where I expected to land honestly, the character does nothing for me but I do like Insomniac so, here we are.

I don't wear Oakley's because I'm not an assistant defensive coordinator.

That said, the more annoying this is going to be listening to people bitch that this doesn't include the game. I remember having to listen to it for Mirrors Edge Catalyst and it has never been the issue they want it to be.

This is awesome to hear! If you aren't playing Nighthawks you really should be!
Nighthawks is doing... well!

It came close to beating our "First Day Of Launch" record. This is a remarkable achievement when you consider that this is on TOP of the thousands of Kickstarter backers who already own the game.

So I think we can safely put this in the "success" column for now! Phew!
September 23, 2026 at 7:55 PM
I have done a lot in the past, like, three weeks or so. I feel like shit that I have been lazy this week but my head isnt all here right now.

I wrote my Nighthawks review in a litteral brain fog before having mental breakdown.

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is absolutely phenomenal, and genuinely shows that Team Ninja has learned from past mistakes. This is them crafting something that could be really special.
September 23, 2026 at 5:05 PM
Finally finished my Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember impression piece based on my time in the demo.

Expect it tomorrow, or... Later today I guess... I have no sense of time.

Fuck dude... Fucking fuck.
September 23, 2026 at 6:08 AM
Have I mentioned how much I love the new traversal elements in Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember?
September 22, 2026 at 10:47 PM
Well this is pretty awesome. I have never been quoted before.

If you are looking for a vampire experience that really lets you take on the role, I definitely do recommend Nighthawks!

Remember to check out our review on Pixle Byte as well.
The early reviews of Nighthawks are looking good. Phew!

Guess we can release the game now. Look for it at 10am EST! (two-ish hours from now)

A little late. I needed yesterday to do nothing I was in a dark place.

Anywho, I love the Lufia series so I am very excited to get to play these games. Must be like 20 years since last I played one.
September 22, 2026 at 5:13 PM
I did a review thing on Nighthawks, which I definitely recommend!

Platinum #128 - Wolverine

Never has their been such a disconnect between the game I played and the game the internet was telling me it is.

Is it perfect, no, can I got though a checklist of things I was outright told about that it really isn't, yeah.

Freaking crazy.

Here it is my Train Sim World 7 review. I'm a train guy now. I'm that dude from Big Little Lies who played with his trains all day while.... Murder was going on? I never watched the show.

The point remains though, I think. I don't remember the point...
September 18, 2026 at 7:39 PM
Not gonna lie, the whole face scanned Troy Baker villian thing in Marvel's Wolverine is really fucking throwing me off.
