SOURCES: The #NWSL has implemented a new player development rule (PDR) allowing teams to ID youth players and shape their development. If the player eventually signs in #NWSL, that team gets significant salary cap relief through their 23rd birthday. Signings could start in 2028.

I had a ton of fun watching the World Cup and am still pissed off about the way the USMNT went out. We should be able to hold these two truths simultaneously.
The framing of “the US men will never win a World Cup so why even bother caring” is so funny dude. There are 48 teams at the World Cup and 44 of them in any given year know they don’t have a prayer. Probably 32 know they’ll never win one. They still seem to have a good time.
