After watching the Frank Miller doc I was reminded of the Sin City screening for comic creators in 2005 with an after party at the Union Square ballroom that I went to. It was incredible seeing every famous comic creator you could think of in one room at the after party...my head almost exploded!

It took me an awfully long time but a few years ago I finally collected all the original pressings of Big Star's output to my record collection. Not a cheap endeavor but that didn't bother me because they're one of my all-time favorite bands. ;)

I loved this book when it originally came out! I had another copy of it and of course I tried doing various aspects of it. The inking section was really difficult though because the blue line ink on the pages used in that section didn't hold India ink well. Happy to have an untouched version now!

Time for some B-movie goodness. Terminal Island from 1973! Convicts are sent to an island prison to fend for themselves! Also has a young Tom Selleck in it.
