there is such a sharp and specific pain in having ultra rich memories of something with a parent or mentor and years down they hardly remember it despite it meaning everything to you.. it's fun to text my mom about Lost now that I can watch it as an adult but it kills me how she barely remembers it

I am fascinated by characters with a certain Dark Charisma. I do not mean evil- these are usually "good guys" who just a knack for irritating everyone around them.. miles from lost, jonny joestar, katniss hunger games- it is such impressive character writing to concoct a Hero that is also hateable..
