It's officially over, what a journey. I think my onedrive will breath a sigh of relief as I move to delete all previous versions of my thesis & random musings. A huge thanks to colleagues at @educationuom.bsky.social for their sage advice, supporting me whilst I balanced work and studying 🤩.

What a busy week! Marking finished, finally watched Cranford (cosy & heart-wrenching), Agatha Christie book finished. My highlight was being nominated by my students for an SU Outstanding Academic Advisor award. Didn’t make the shortlist, but it’s made my year 😀, so grateful for such kind students!

As we navigate 'interesting times', today was a welcome breath of fresh air. I got to spend time watching some of this year's Poetry by Heart competition submissions for the Classic category. Such a joy and privilege to be part of the shortlist judging. Their performances were a credit to them.
