I'm gonna make some custom figures and post them here, and elsewhere. Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel/DC, Transformers (particularly the Beast Era)
I just finished The Story of Birds by @stevebrusatte.bsky.social and I now have a deeper appreciation and fascination for our avian friends. I've taken to feeding the crows in my neighborhood. Makes me want to go see the fossil of the titanis walleri that's only a few hours away.

I'm 42, recently developed an intense interest in birds, I've always been interested in paleontology and evolution. So this was a must. And it's simply fantastic! @stevebrusatte.bsky.social knocks it out of the park. Accessable and informative, I'm loving it!

@starwarsexplained.com I don't know if you've already got this, or if it's available in your area, but Chronicles of the Jedi is on sale at Ollie's for like $10. They also had The Art of the High Republic at my local store.

@starwarsexplained.com I'm sure it's been pointed out, but my brain is just catching up. Two-Boots is doing a C-3PO callback with his "I'm surprised you recognize me without my boots" vs the "you probably don't recognize me because of the red arm". Absolutely loving Maul: Shadows Lord

@sethandrews.com @forrestvalkai.bsky.social wants you to know it was him (loved the cameo, btw. Second to the "I'm not *the* Thinking Atheist" cameo)

After reading The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs by @stevebrusatte.bsky.social I had to dig out my Beasts of the Mesozoic Zhenyuanlong Suni. This book has reawakened my deep love of dinosaurs. Highly recommended!

Movie you've watched more than six times using gifs.
("Hard mode" no Star Wars, Star Trek, or LotR)
Ultimate hard mode would be no holiday movies too.
Easy peasy. But given the day:

Hey! I finished a custom! Here's my new Anakin Skywalker from The Clone Wars/Ahsoka! Obi-Wan's arms to fix the long ones he came with. Painted the chest armor as well. I might replace the soft goods with a more premium version later on.

Watched The Wild Robot tonight. My god, this movie kicked my ass. Absolutely phenomenal film, beautifully animated. But I need a full box of tissues.
