Happy Artfight and long time no drawing..!!!! Here is my friend’s OC Amaidhini dancing with the moon jellies! #artfight #teamcomedy character belongs to @dyebaths.bsky.social 🪼
Amaidhini dances front and center, mesmerized by the jellyfish around her, her eyes wide and glowing with wonder. she wears a frilly dress of blue and white, speckled with the light from the water, and pearls adorn her neck and wrists. the jellyfish glow a pale blue, and cast their light onto the scene.

smoke & mirrors

#illustration #art
An illustration of a jester, rendered with sketchy pencil textures. Their tunic, pants, and hood are split in reds and oranges, with diamond patterning. At their waist is a frilly corset. They balance on one foot, like a ballerina, pointing their feet. Their sleeves billow with movement as they dance. Smoke wraps around them.

the vibes on @moonrpg.bsky.social 's creature, honey locust

#art #design #furry
A drawing of honey locust, a creature with a human body and the head of a mantis. Honey locust wears a blue sweater and a plaid skirt. she has long blonde hair and holds her hands up stiffly, like a mantis does. behind her, several mantis silhouettes are tiled in a row. The drawing is colored with greens, blues, and yellows, and is textured similar to a risograph print. The text reads: "Honey Locust. The honey locust (Gleditsia triacanthos), also known as the thorny locust or thorny honeylocust, is a deciduous tree in the family Fabaceae, native to central North America where it is mostly found in the moist soil of river valleys. Honey locust trees are highly adaptable to different environments, and the species has been introduced worldwide. Outside its natural range it can be an aggressive, damaging invasive species."

coming back from my art hiatus with more blitz + appel

#art #oc #dnd #tohd
an elf and a tiefling run across a grassy field. the elf, blitz, is chinese coded, with long dark hair and is dressed in red robes. the tiefling, appel, is dravidian coded, with dark curly hair, ram horns, and silver armor. behind them, the clouds blow, and birds fly across. large, thorny vines intertwine over the scene, as a frame. the piece is rendered in reds and blues, with a sharp contrast where sky meets land.

lately people have been asking me, "who is yobbo," or "what is yobbo," or "please explain yobbo." so i made a 4koma that doesn't really answer any of these questions at all

#oc #art #tohd #dnd
A four-panel comic (4koma), titled "Family Tree." Panel one: Blitz and Mila stand in a mountainous area. They look at a man who walks in the distance. Mila: "...who was that?" Blitz: "my dad, i think." Panel two: Close up of the man, while Blitz and Mila continue talking from afar. Mila: "how do you figure?" Blitz: "well, wood elves have markings on the body, like tree rings." In the panel, round tree-like patterns are visible on the man's hand. Blitz: "his rings are like mine. that only really happens among blood family." Panel three: Mila and Blitz continue talking. Now, they're facing each other instead of looking at the man. Mila: "so what about yobbo?" Blitz: "huh?" Inside Mila's thought bubble is Yobbo. He takes off a glove to reveal markings on his hand. "Fwip." Mila points up at him, and Blitz takes a shocked stance. Text: "he has the same markings, too." Panel four: Blitz despairs over this revelation. Blitz: "I CAN'T BE RELATED TO THAT!!!" Blitz imagines photographs of himself at Yobbo's birthday party. Blitz looks increasingly more distressed in each photograph.

in the palm of my hand #DELTARUNE
Drawing of young Kris from Deltarune, wearing their horned headband. They are standing still, next to a red tree, in a black space. A white, photorealistic hand with a dark hole in the middle holds the scene of Kris and the tree within it.

doing "it's not transphobia because trans boys are allowed and it's not gender discrimination because [cis] girls are allowed" is, very hilariously, a similar context to how crenshaw constructed the legal framework on intersectionality
JUSTICE BARRETT: Counsel, can I ask you a question about analytically in the discrimination on the basis of transgender status, since trans boys can play on boys' teams, how would we say this discriminates on the basis of transgender status when its effect really only runs towards trans girls and not trans boys?

no one saw that. especially not kim.
drawing of kim kitsuragi squinting at a sheaf of paper that he’s holding at arm’s length. his glasses are pushed up onto his forehead. jean is walking by in the background, looking at how far away kim is holding the papers. continued. three panels. Jean asks “Lieutenant?” and Kim acknowledges him, “Vicquemare.” next panel is Jean wordlessly tapping the top of his own head while looking pointedly at Kim. final panel, Kim pulls his glasses down in front of his eyes and holds the papers closer to himself. in the background jean continues walking by, sighing. kim’s ears are shaded with a blush.

Cindy, a Black tiefling with gazelle-like horns, runs in a field. She has long braided hair and wears a blue waistcoat, white shirt, brown pants, and leather boots / armbands. She smiles, looking back at Appel, a Dravidian tiefling with ram-like horns, who runs as well. He has medium, curly hair and wears armor and a wool capelet. Further ahead in the field are two baby lambs/goats, jumping and running. There are blue flowers in the grass, and a bright blue sky behind the scene. In general, the blues in this drawing are vivid.
