The whole Battle of Westerplatte is such an inspiring story of resistance in the face of insurmountable odds at the start of WW2. Even just reading through the Wikipedia article is such a trip:

Started Langan's 'House of Windows' after years of it lingering on my TBR and it's got some killer lines. Definitely a slowburn/ character driven story but it's finally hinting at impossible spaces and upsetting visions of possible unreality👀

Been in a well of despair but I'm laying the ground work to finally start making this house my own. All the old hardware has been pulled from the walls, spackle will be acquired, then sanding, then painting, then furnishing.

I’m caring less and less about the news, about social media, about algorithms, and intangibles. I want to watch my old shows, eat whole foods, ride my bike, and just stay away from cruelty I can’t control.
Maybe I’ll bike to the waterfront this weekend.

Finally had a good writing sesh for the first time in what feels like months. Put my health/weight loss as my priority since the start of the year but with that coming along nicely I hope to be fully in the swing of writing come September/October of this year. Big plans for 2027 ⚔️
