From yesterday: I feel bad for the #Rays. I’ve been in their shoes during championship games. It stings. Everyone’s short fused and the static from anger and frustration spreads. Luckily these guys are adults and hopefully behaving that way (you never know). #worldseries

I hate that there’s a trove of great high school #baseball players out there who aren’t being recruited currently.
Whether that’s because they haven’t done combines, uploaded video, paid membership to a said site, the main culprit will always be money. #Uncommitted2027

In case some of you didn’t know, I’m a baseball coach for youth sports. Both the teams I manage are in the adolescent years, one is 13-16 and the other is strictly 16u.
Anyway, I kind of forgot about this and want to get back in the swing of things. So expect more. Thanks!

This week has been more promising in terms of weather. Had a pop up thunderstorm yesterday but that didn’t keep baseball away as games still prevailed.
Have our team’s practice today and need to get some bullpens in. Pitching is something we really need to work on. #baseball

Holy shit, so my kiddo plays high school baseball and he’s playing at a place called the rock sports complex here in #Milwaukee. They are charging 15 fucking dollars per person to get in and watch your own kid to play baseball. I shit you guys not! That’s fucking insanity.

A quiet night without rain. I’ll take it. Hoping tomorrow the rain holds off and dissipates somewhere over Iowa. We’d like baseball practice, baseball gods know we need it. That and I think Milwaukee and Wisconsin for that matter could use a break.

This is insane. The amount of rain we’ve gotten in Milwaukee is just unbelievable. I cannot believe the amount of rain we’ve gotten over the past 72 hours. It’s August all over again.

Phil Garner was the coach of the Milwaukee Brewers when I first started paying attention and getting into baseball as a kid in the 90s. There wasn't anything glamorous about the team then, but he'll always be cemented in my relationship with baseball. RIP.
