Desperation in isolation.
PTSD shrank my world to often just online spaces. I sometimes feel trapped in a cell of my own making, and the only lifeline is a tenuous set of digital threads connecting me to people outside my little world.

Being together makes being apart so much harder. The reason I can't decide on dinner isn't lack of apetite or conviction, but rather I don't want to eat this meal alone. When shared even food out of a brown paper bag feels magical.

One night we were watching taskmaster in bed. We finished an episode and I was ready to call it. She swore up and down that she wanted to watch another and was awake enough.

The regulation number is five. The pancakes are my grandfathers recipe where, to stop my mom and aunt bickering, each had an equal five blueberries.
When I made them for my family I had to wrestle her out of the kitchen to prevent mischief from meddling and breaking regulations

That's two weeks in a row where I've actually done some writing. Before last week it'd been over two months since I did anything of the sort. Not bad considering before THAT it sat dormant in my drafts for almost a year or more
