Chris Rock keeps giving interviews that make him come across as unlikable, and he keeps doing it unprovoked.

The internet is so weird because it's full of people who'll ask a question who will then get upset when they're given an answer.

"Why would I know about a thing I asked a question about? I'm going to have strong opinions anyway and call anyone who can give me the correct info a loser."

I rewatched "Street Fighter: TAS" on Youtube over the past week. I forgot how much of season 1 focused on Blanka. They used his movie background, so they had more to work with than what the games were offering at the time.

This is GROSS. Falsified images and videos being used in court is also a crime, so not sure why the judge thought it was okay in the first place.
US road rage killer's sentence quashed because AI video of victim was shown in court
The Arizona appeals court ruled that airing an AI message from the dead victim "crossed that line".

Earlier this week, I agreed to interviews with two USA Today journalists. They wrote fantastic articles about the Cornell case that I'm proud to have been a part of.

What I did not know is that their employer considers interviews to proprietary and opens up recordings to be used by any journalist.

Ryan Murphy really did double, triple, and quadruple down on his obsession with killers and being offensive to the victims and their families.

But maybe if people would stop watching and rewarding him, he'd get the picture. Ahunno.

I do feel like a lot of the stuff I learned in Civics/Economics was a waste as clearly, companies can do whatever they want, and rules can be ignored or applied with bias. Was Checks and Balances ever a real thing or just something we all agreed to... until we didn't? Who knows.

John Leguizamo calls Skydance’s threat to move Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery’s film and TV out of Los Angeles “despicable” and “heartless.”

“But that’s still not enough! You’ve got an expiration date. So people have to plan for the next five years, and then what? No, that’s not cool.”

It's interesting seeing opinions on any new adaptation of "Carrie" because you can tell that a lot of people's interpretation of Carrie as a character is based on the 70s movie and not the source material.

I still can't believe so much of the WB conversation was eaten up by people complaining about movies being in theaters and not about any other issue.

Like?

Hmm?

"Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s fiancé Ken Urker dead at 33"

I'd link a source but I'd rather stay away from TMZ and Murdoch's PageSix/NYPost.

I really hope this isn't true for the child's sake. Halle's love life is always so chaotic and publicly messy.

Ben Affleck announcing that he used AI in his upcoming movie.

Again, I thought the progression of AI would take longer, but people hopped right on that. :S

Once again, I need people on the internet to remember and realize that racism and the complexities around it were meant to be explored by the time John was created. That topic came up a lot between Hal and John because the writers intentionally wanted to tackle biases.

Blue checkmarks have now decided that defending Brad Pitt from... his children is their newest crusade.

"How DARE they change their last names! My children better not ever do that. This is Angie's fault."

Reminder: Brad Pitt had a domestic/abusive episode towards them that got FBI involved.

Dan Gheesling lost his Big Brother hosting opportunity after his army sponsorship?

Welp. You'd think CBS/Paramount wouldn't care as that plays into their crowd.

Anyway...

I gave up on hitting rank 100+ this competitive season of Marvel Snap. I got to rank 99 and was one win away from crossing over... then lost 6 ranks. >_>

On the plus side... pulled two new cards off one 5 series pack. :)

It's weird to see people defending hazing because, at one point, we were really moving past that and recognized how harmful it was and is.

It's scary to see all the ways we're stepping back from progress while toxic ideologies rise.

This is also why I hate Jon Hamm. He beat and tortured a freshman in the process of hazing that included dragging him around by his genitals that were looped around the claw of a hammer. The pledge suffered severe injuries and dropped out of school. I can’t get over that

I believe fraternity hazing and military hazing and sports team hazing where men abuse each other is acclimating them into a broader culture of abuse where they will then believe it is their right to abuse other more vulnerable people. It’s so insidious. And that’s also why I think men defend it
