Ugh. My headspace has been bad this week, my husband has been sick for two weeks now, and I got bad family news. My YouTube algorithm is fucked with politics, economics and anti AI things. While I am overall supportive of this, I need a switch up. Any recommendations for nice positive channels?

I just spotted a news story that Colorado initiative 195 made the ballot this fall. It's a definite no brainer yes vote for increased fairness in taxation. If you see this and can legally vote in Colorado, I hope you vote yes!

Since getting my running watch in early April, I've tracked just over 100 miles of running. That feels crazy to me, but I guess training for my 10 mile race did a lot of work. Maybe I ought to find a half marathon to sign up for.

Finished my 10 mile race this morning. So far I feel way better than expected, but tomorrow all bets are off. I was really close to my most ambitious time goal, too.

Wow, there are several really awesome shows this summer at Red rocks, but I just didn't think I can justify the level of costs they're asking for these tickets. I'd love to see Weird Al and Barenaked Ladies again, and the Mountain Goats, but the prices are so high.

Ok, so despite driving all afternoon and feeling like shit, I still managed to do a long run on the treadmill. I thought I'd cop out after a couple miles, but made the whole 10k, and faster than I thought I could. #feelingaccomplshed

Monday night I finished major steps in two different art projects. It makes me feel accomplished, even though neither one is actually really ready to be sent out yet. Still riding the productive high from being around all the artists & hard work from TFF.
