We explore the natural cycles and basic aspects of Earth sciences that underpin sustainable solutions to the growing need for energy and water resources.
We are excited to be part of the #GenesisMission. Our researchers will lead 6 projects and contribute to 8 more, focusing on using #AI to help ensure #water and energy security, manage nuclear waste, and accelerate the recovery of critical minerals and deployment of subsurface #energy.
Berkeley Lab will lead 13 new #GenesisMission projects and partner on more than 30 others. The work combines #AI, supercomputing, scientific data, and advanced instruments to speed discovery in energy, materials, water, fusion, critical minerals, and national security.
