Finally had a chance to read the Seattle city legislation passed last week that extends civil right protections to polyamorous, asexual, and pansexual people and folks in multi-generational and extra-nuclear families. And all I can say is I'm so proud to live in Seattle.🥹

We’re going to hear about how everyone loved Dolly, and that feels true. But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. She ALWAYS stood firm when it mattered.
