As a (non-practicing) Catholic, I liked Pope Francis a lot, but I’m full on stanning for Pope Leo.
IMHO, the right Pope at the right time.
Only time & history will tell how this all plays out, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes down in cannon as a fierce opponent of authoritarianism.
