23 years ago today, my ex adopted a tiny, fluffy, tortoiseshell kitten, Perdita, from the San Francisco SPCA. She was adorable but a bit shy, having been born to a feral mother. She grew into a big, magnificent cat with yellow eyes and long, luxuriant fur. All Hail Perdita!

Happy #Caturday! This is my stunningly beautiful second cat, Isotope, a lynx point Siamese rescue. She was very food motivated, and I was able to teach her tricks with treats: sit, high five, and jump from one stool to another like a circus cat. Sweet, lovely, and playful!

My poor little #caturdaycutie, #eightsthecat, has only three more days with the cone, then she can groom herself again! She's so unhappy in the meantime. Second photo is of the place on her leg they shaved to put the IV in for her surgery. The fur's already coming back!
