Another update:
Got two paid off thanks to donations and some saving but still owe the hospital 4k and some labs.
Unfortunately one of the other lab bills showed up so thats another 1,250.
I'm sorry I keep mentioning all this.. I'm still fighting the hospital for a discount. Its difficult..

Update: I negotiated with the lab and knocked one of the bills down by half so I'll only owe $6500 now.
I'm happy for that but trying to appeal the hospital, they shut me down bluntly. Trying to get help from a non-profit, we'll see how it goes. Appreciate you all sharing this too, means a lot.
