Homemade lemonade made with the zest is such an amazing luxury. This batch: zest of 6 lemons, mixed into 1.5 cups white sugar and rested a couple hours until gooey. Add boiling hot water to dissolve sugar, then strain into pitcher with the lemon juice. Add ice and water to dilute to taste.
