He is a young Japanese man, standing at 5 foot 4. He has a lightly toned & somewhat bottom-heavy frame with just enough mass to feel solid rather than lithe. His hair is bleached-blonde & in a jellyfish style, with the back heavily layered. The left of his bangs are a red-pink color and tucked behind his ear. His eyebrows are practically round due to being so short and thick. He has pink irises, a square jawline to fit his wide toothy grin, and big ol' ears. The clothed figure wears a short sleeve cropped jacket with a bold green and black pattern based on emerald cicadas; its popped collar reveals a blue inner lining. its worn over a sleeveless mockneck shirt. He wears red jeans under black leather-look riding chaps, the ass of which forms a heart shape cut-out. This heart motif also appears on the jacket's chest and lower back. As a child Jarred took home a cool rock on a whim, only to find himself possessed and transformed. Realizing he was now a threat to his family, he ran away from home to protect them. He now has the ability to see things beyond normal human comprehension and seems to be unkillable. A gentle giant, though unfortunately the creature possessing him isn't as gentle as Jarred himself. Born in a coastal town known for its fishing (as much as it's known at all), and left in the care of a negligent father. When the family of his childhood best friend moved to the city for better schooling prospects, they offered to take Hayao in. 14 years later, he's now on his grind as a recent grad from an arts college-- Or he had been, until he bumped into Jarred during a bender with friends. A misunderstanding between them leads Hayao down the path to realising part of why he feels so out of place: he's only half human."

So, uh, I haven't talked about this much here, but my wife has been bedridden and unable to walk or work for like two months now because of combinations of viruses, vertigo, and as of last week Sciatica. That plus four emergency room visits means things are getting real tight here.
