A broad headed sharpshooter treehopper, a little long bug with orange mottled face and underwing with blue mottling all over wings and top piece Top down of A broad headed sharpshooter treehopper, a little long bug with orange mottled face and underwing with blue mottling all over wings and top piece Screenshot of the movie Office Space with The Bobs who normally say, "We had a chance to meet this young man, and boy that's just a straight shooter with upper management written all over him." But is actually saying here "We had a chance to meet this young bug, and boy that's just a broad headed sharpshooter with upper canopy written all over them."

We all deserve some more passionflower in our lives.
Like a 45 degree angle from top view of a purple passionflower, a weird 3D sculpture looking thing of a skirt of purple frills, then some oblong knobs above in the middle and then alien antennae hat on top top view of a purple passionflower, a weird 3D sculpture looking thing of a skirt of purple frills, then some oblong knobs above in the middle and then alien antennae hat on top

Me yesterday: one more day and that tomato will be perfect!
Squirrel: heard chef!
A half eaten juicy red tomato next to another almost ripe one, probably gonna get jacked by that opossum that cruises around some nights, tonight.

Well the monarchs didn't take labor day off apparently!
Old beat up front door with big sign "Monarch chrysalis!!! Please be careful!!!" And a frickin' chrysalis on the handle. Luckily we have a 2nd entrance and the handle doesn't move when opened with our key cards.

Labby mix pupper on her side spread out from couch to ottoman with a good bit of her middle hanging off over the floor. Apparently comfortable?

Red spotted purple appearance calls for a brief work stoppage to admire!
Lovely butterfly with black overall and semi iridescent blue along the end of the hindwings and spotted along each wing. On some asphalt next to a pump I was about to turn on

The new transitional insect/crustacean fossil might not look very insectlike, if you think of modern insects like butterflies and beetles, but check out its reconstruction (left) next to a photo of the oldest living lineage of extant insects, the bristetails (right).
