Techbro billionaires are rapidly infesting, parasitizing & ingesting govt. agencies & functions.

STOP this nonsense immediately.

We DON'T NEED this AI crap. They're forcing it on us so they can raid our treasury, fatten up at our expense & destroy any govt. agency that could restrain them.

Who wrote this on p.58 of his autobiography? (Hint: he’s a beardo weirdo.)

“You can walk through a [rural] town where 30 percent of the young men work fewer than twenty hours a week and find not a single person aware of his own laziness.”
Vance: "When people say Americans won't work on farms or in dirty jobs, what they're saying is Americans won't work those jobs for poverty wages, nor should they. When they say we have to bring in accountants, what they're saying is there aren't enough ppl who can do math in the US, which is absurd"

The rhetoric of tech in a nutshell: I value convenience, efficiency, ease first and also have no capacity to recognize humanity, my own or others, but feel qualified to run the world.

Someone send an army of divorce lawyers; after all this guy already wants to disconnect.
It's telling that men would rather try to invent tech to replace humans' role in caregiving than step up as equal partners in parenting.

Telling, that is, in that it shows how financial capitalism and patriarchy work together to dissuade men from doing "unprofitable" labor, like the work of care.

The trading itself does not prove that the betters possessed advanced knowledge of the military operation. But the timing, scale and concentration of bets among some newly created or lightly used accounts raise significant questions about what certain traders knew before the attacks began.

The airlines strenuously deny that they're doing this, of course, but they continue to make investor-facing announcements about their exciting deals with surveillance pricing companies...and things are getting *weird* for frequent travelers.

Meanwhile, airlines all over the world have quietly switched their frequent flier reward programs from "mileage-based" rewards to "revenue-based" rewards. That means that you get points and status based on how much you spend on your ticket, not how far you fly.
