After a long bout of creative block I've actually come up with some new music, and a new name too:

I just had a horrible thought. Maybe it’s a good thing that there aren’t any Star Trek shows in production now, as considering the franchise is now under the same umbrella as HBO Max, the powers that be might push a load of H*rry P*tter references in like they’re apparently doing with WB/DC shows.

We wish a very happy birthday to Avery Brooks, who played Commander/Captain/Emissary Benjamin Sisko for all 7 seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and is the only actor to appear in every single episode of the series. He also directed nine episodes.

We remember Matt Jefferies mostly for designing the Enterprise. Michael and Denise Okuda suggest that his overall achievement was in making the entire world of #StarTrek feel real.
This is a conversation about design, simplicity, and vision.

Matt Jefferies made Star Trek look believable
Michael and Denise Okuda reflect on a humble visionary.

Even a plain statement like this now brings slander and insults,
but I think a society where people can live happily as themselves matters more than silence,
so I will keep saying it until the account is gone.
love everyone🤍

The way the Cornell victim is being publicly disbelieved by a lot of journalists, officials, and online posters is also a warning shot to every other victim not to dare to actually pursue a case against your rapist lest you suffer the same fate. It’s a means of protecting the status quo

Happy 25th birthday to Kylie's Fever album! I know what I'll be listening to later on.
The album of course spawned such classics as Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Come Into My World and Love At First Sight (fun fact: the last track on her debut album is also called Love At First Sight).

Not that I like that logo much, but in a way I kinda wish that they used something like the logo on these blueprints for the show proper, so that TNG wouldn't be so detached from the rest of the franchise, identity-wise.
