"A prayer, offered in avarice," the cyst-mother murmurs in a voice that is not her own. Her sutured lips are stained by pollen and thin honey; her words emerge from the wasps dancing through her gall-laden hair. "What a delicious thing. I think I will keep you."

The last version of PTHK (before it was banned from Itch) was absolutely breathtaking, and I'm so fucking excited to read through this one!

Given all the *flails hands* you all deserve one of the most adorable pictures I took of Baby Bird Season 2026. A snowy ploverlet peeking through a little sand shrub.

Perhaps a once in a lifetime shot. 🪶 🐣

I'm trying to write out long winded prose and wishery, but the truth is, if it's the only way you get off anymore, then kill her from a thousand yards if you want, it really is okay- ideally, yes you should use claws and daggers and feel her warm pumping blood run between your hands, but it's okay

An orbital rings its mother, boundling along a circular well while its string wretches taut. There is an allure within the act of yielding, but momentum is a stronger wife for an eloper than home in the offing.

truly believe this is happening to a lot of people who don't even realize it, they're sliding rightward by virtue of having heinous shit normalized for them everyday on there
There are a lot of people who think their parents got their brains destroyed by Fox News, but somehow they’re not getting their brains destroyed by staying on Twitter.

A rich man genuinely going out of his way to IVF select for male children, and despite his efforts one turns out to be a woman and this drives him to such insanity that it undoes everything he built is clear-cut poetic, divine justice. It's a greek tragedy about hubris. Amazing to even contemplate.

for two months, I've been flying drones over Flock cameras to situation them in space and geography; I even got my commercial drone license in order to do it.

I'd like to share this project with you all: it's called Records Of Enemy Surveillance:

I'm a completely normal woman. I'm utterly unremarkable. There's nothing odd or non-normative about my bed.

A Black-capped Chickadee checking out the Poison Ivy bush. The berries are bad for humans (no surprise there) but are perfectly fine for birds. Birds' immune systems don't react to urushiol, the sap that triggers the allergic reaction in people.

Women love being trapped in a hell of their own making. It's their favorite thing and it's good for them. Never try to rescue a woman from her own private hell: you'll get badly injured and ruin her day!

Instead of writing a mini-essay about the philosophy of voting and why seeing it as a transactional act is necessary for a healthy democracy (a topic which I'm sure political scholars have covered to death), perhaps I'll finish putting up my prints and fold my clothes. That seems more useful.

i'll be honest, now that the goat has bitten me .... i'm starting to think the wolf has a point. maybe we should just kill and eat the goat. after all, the goat was literally mean to me! and it's piled high with sin, so it couldn'tve have ever been a good person. must be ethical to eat it

If you‘ve ever wondered what disiri or I meant when we said “women should be more fictional”, you might enjoy this thread.
A core aspect of the fantasy is that it pretends that it is not a fantasy. It grows uncomfortable with the idea of cleanly delineated lines, of magic circles and the end of scenes, and so it seeks to escape them, and we are taught to coax its seeking tendrils back into their boxes—or chop them off.
