I promised my mom I'd cut her hair tonight, but after that I'm watching as much Carrie as I can fit into one evening.

I hope Matthew Lillard knows how much he means to us misfits.

It's this fella's birthday today. He doesn't really do social media, but I'm on here all the time and I will never waste an opportunity to celebrate him. Anthony has the most compassionate heart I have ever known. I love him fiercely and am so glad that we found eachother. ❤️

Here I am yesterday at Bookish Bazaar from Lost the Plot at Old Stove Gardens. I had a great time signing books, meeting my fellow local authors, and doing some witchy shopping! Huge thanks to all the book lovers who came (and also showed off some incredible fashion). It was an amazing event!

I really enjoyed this one. Emily expertly portrays the inner lives of her characters and includes realistic anxiety disorder rep. I related to babysitter Amy in many ways while also having a great time unraveling the mystery!
October is the perfect time to read my 2024 debut novel, MIDNIGHT ON BEACON STREET. Here's why! 🎃👻🖤

Trying to get Phoebe to forgive me for being out yesterday. Today, we are hanging out just the two of us.

Some people have the father, the son, and the holy ghost. I have Alcott, Florence, and the holy Dickinson.

Anthony and I went to Peddler's Village yesterday to celebrate his birthday. A perfect fall afternoon.

At Lunar Faire. I just had the best conversation with a little girl about which horror dolls looked cursed and which didn't. Also I love this take on Midsommar. I'm going to call her Florence. She is beautiful and terrifying.

So...we ended up here tonight. Totally unexpected. And it ruled.

Cathy Ames as written by Zoe Kazan and played by Florence Pugh is an incredibly compelling character. Also, I am obsessed with this look.

I wanted to share my grandmother’s story but Native people shouldn’t have to share our trauma for non-Native people to care about all the ways Canada has harmed and continues to harm us.
My grandmother made it home from residential school. Her sister didn’t. My stepdad did. My dad went to an Indian Day School. I’m in the first generation not to go.

Since I haven't found a full-time position yet, I am very eager to do more freelance work. Between cost of living and taking care of my senior dog, a few freelance gigs could go a long way. If you don't need a freelancer but can share this post, I'd really appreciate that too!

I was going to do this in October, but decided to start early because it's my favorite time of year! Between now and October 31st, my horror poetry prints are $8 each or two for $10. DM or contact me via the website in my bio to order. 🖤

It’s wild to me how often readers are engaging with female rage books and taking umbrage with the rage. You say that you support female rage but also believe in strictly legislating how it’s expressed? Look around, babe.
