I grew up with this and loved it more than anything as a kid, and as a young adult, but if I were to support it now it would hurt not just the world at large, not just trans ppl in general, but my very own trans friends personally. So I let it go. It was an easy choice! Fix your hearts.
A lot of folks enthusing about how much their kids enjoy HP. As an adult survivor of conversion therapy and a former trans child (current trans adult) I find it absolutely chilling how much cis people don’t give a shit about our suffering and deaths. Worse, I do not expect better from them.

I miss living in Halifax but one thing I am relieved to be rid of is the constant pressure to go to the beach during the two months it is summer there! I always had a job! I never had time! I don't like sand! I was not on vacation! The ocean is weird! I like swimming but the pressure was immense!

I am home sick watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I resent that this takes place in "Chicago" when it was clearly filmed on the Danforth. I don't know how Chicago's Greek scene is, but if the producers had let it take place on the Danforth, maybe Toula wouldn't have felt so alienated!!!

I must return to the fake twitter to report that I am currently drinking the worst latte I've ever had. It was made by a team of baristas who were loudly singing a song from Hamilton, then switched to a country song. I believe I accidentally went to the starbucks in downtown Hell. That is all.

re: The Odyssey, I was really excited for the Hades sequence but feeling quite disappointed now that Nolan decided to cut Skelly. Although now I'm wondering if maybe John Leguizamo is Skelly and just hasn't died yet? Idk, it really took me out of it...
