One of the best parts to being married is - I get to go home to my favorite person. Like good day, bad day, she is who imma tell about something first (maybe second if my best friend or brother was locked in first). But she is the person I share my joy and sorrows with. The reason racism is solvable is that it in no way biological destiny. White people aren't genetically constructed to do wrong, they can always choose not to, & we always have the choice at every moment to deconstruct whiteness & get rid if of it collectively.

They told us they understood with George Floyd, Mike Brown. Go back further to Rodney King. Every time one of the many incidents manages to get national attention, they say they finally understand. But they always understood. They just don't have the will to change anything. Forgetting is easier.

We are the designated sacrifice. Our role in white supremacy is to be the target when they need to release their worst tendencies but still feel good about themselves. Whatever they do doesn't count when it's done to us. You can't make them feel bad about it.
You're inflicting harm on us when you misuse our dialect white people! You are hurting us! It's your pleasure to hurt us, the sadism of whiteness. Nothing will stop you from loving harming us.
It's not a joke like hehe Black people kinda complain but it's so fun to steal their dialect & try to speak AAVE. There's nothing cute or funny about it to us. Be hard up to find an exception among us who doesn't loathe to hear & see it to our core. It's personal but you hate us so & don't care.

Something I realized not too long ago. In a pretty short period of time, white people will forget what they've learned from this era. They'll go back to pretending they didn't know and didn't understand the way that we're treated. It will be memory holed just like every other time in history.
