I have been making digital art since the days you had to plot pixels out on graph paper and hand-calculate their hexadecimal value to poke screen memory addresses while some old guy tells you the computer does all the work.

Coloring with crayons today.

[ #art | #illustration | #artsky | #muppets | #cookiemonster | #sesamestreet | #fanart ]
A photo of Cookie Monster, rendered using crayons in a small sketchbook. Some of the crayons are on the table next to the sketchbook. The style is very scribbled and uses lots of layers of different colors scribbled on top of each other.

Uh oh, Ryan’s making maps again. Swordtember sent me in a direction and I’m gonna follow it where it takes me. Here’s a medieval coastal whaling settlement.

My latest books cartoon for @theguardian.com
Two books talking Younger book "What's happening?" Older book "The wheel of life has turned, my child... Our time on the front table of the bookshop is over, and, like brave birds flying south for the winter, we summer books must journey back to the shelves." Younger book "But I like it here!" Older book "All things must pass. The beach reads table you knew is already gone. The time of autumn books is upon us." Younger book "Will we ever return?" Older book "The cycle is eternal: the Christmas bestsellers and prize nominees will come and go, but people will always want something nice to read on holiday."

The 2026 Calarts Producers' Show Opening is a lovely tribute to art & animation (directed by Sofia Kondrasheva & Veda Lee).
Every year, Calarts school has a showcase where they select a handful of student films to be screened in a Hollywood theater.

A New Color (1/5🧵)
Page 1: A man is walking home, smoking a cigarette, being quietly trailed by a UFO above him. As he enters his apartment, two aliens watch from inside the ship. Alien 1, who has a large head, says, “that’s him. Let’s move.” Page 2: The man walks upstairs as the aliens watch from the entrance of the building. The man enters his apartment and greets his little dog. Suddenly there is a knock at the door. Page 3: he peers through his peephole, and sees the two aliens standing in the hallway. Alien 1 is holding a briefcase. From behind him, the voice of alien one: “don’t scream.” Page 4: The aliens are seated across the room on the man’s couch. Sadie is in her bed next to them. Alien 1 says, “you’re not in any danger. Have a seat.” The man looks at his dog and thinks, “sadie is unusually calm.” Alien 1: don’t scream, or it’s a problem.

I'm sorry but I invented Waziggy, a mean Ziggy who likes bad things and is rude. I invented him but I cannot control him, and I am afraid of him.
A cartoon character who looks very similar to beloved character Ziggy, but looks cruel and has a big "W" on his shirt

My biggest pet peeve is that there's a ton of scam websites that are "Free QR Code Generator"s then the QR code stops working after a few days and then redirects you to ask you to PAY to re-activate it. I made a page on website for making ACTUALLY FREE QR Codes. Enjoy. konig.games/QRCodes/ #QRCodes

Character idea: Barbarian named Yor, who speaks in classic barbarian third person. Except that confuses everyone when he says things like, "Yor gonna smash the door in!"
