I’ve read THE HAAR and I’m currently listening to THE SUFFERING on audiobook. David Sodergren is now officially one of my favorite authors. God, what an imagination!!! He’s marvelous.

So delighted to hear from living legend @ericlarocca.com that Rue Morgue has reviewed WRETCH in their latest issue and it's cause for celebration! And Halloween!! 🎃
I don’t mean to alarm anyone on this, the sacred day of Halloween, but there’s a fabulous article about me and also probably the best, most positive review of WRETCH I’ve ever seen in the latest issue of Rue Morgue!!!!!!!

This novella was excellent. Gave me so much existential dread and despair in such a slender page count. Thank you to Paul Tremblay for the recommendation!

🎃 Did you know Kathe Koja's #SKIN was on HWA's list of 40 greatest horror books of all time (compiled in 1996) and with great company! This classic withstands the test of time. Have you read it yet?

Takashi Miike talking about VISITOR Q (2001).

There’s a subsection of film fandom that really really needs to try and internalize this mode of creation/understanding.

Stephen Graham Jones is one of our absolute best. He's also prolific as hell. Whatever kind of horror you like, he's probably written it.

A reader recently told me that they’ve read my novel WRETCH four times since it was published earlier this year…. FOUR TIMES in six months!! I don’t think I’ve ever read the same book four times in less than six months?

I finished reading and really savoring the last few chapters of Brute by my favorite author of all time @ericlarocca.com . This book is such an elegant descent into madness. Then, when you think you have the ending figured out, Eric spins the story on its head. My favorite read of the year!!
