Add one to the "good news" column, my stepdad brought back my lawn mower, and it's fixed! It appears on top of the other problems it was having, part of the carburetor had come loose (probably from me dicking around with it). I think I'll celebrate tonight by finally mowing the backyard, lol.

Busy day here, the Gremlin is getting a bath, and I need to wash and fold a load of her laundry (man this kid wears a lot of pajamas), and then whip up something later for dinner. Keep that coffee on tap!

My stepdad is stopping back today at some point to pick up my lawn mower, and once again take a look at it (he seems to now think it's a carburetor problem). We have no money to pay him, so hopefully he happily accepts some two-day-old cupcakes that my wife made this weekend. 🧁

I was watching the Browns game, but they (again) look like shit, and the Gremlin wants to play with "silly poopy", so I guess we have a whole "turd" theme going here today, lol.

A comedic genius, but for the life of me, his compassionate, warm roles were always my favorite, whether it be Awakenings (1990), or his Oscar-winning role in Good Will Hunting (1997). His empathy apparently was as strong as his comedy, and I wish I could have given him a hug.
He was always going to break big at some point — but ROBIN WILLIAMS’ big break came in a 1978 episode of HAPPY DAYS when ‘Mork from Örk’ stole the show & led immediately to ‘Mork & Mindy’.

So yesterday my stepdad brought my mower back and said "it's fixed", hooray! I finally finished mowing the front yard, and then poof, it crapped out again, and wont start. BUT at least I finished mowing the front yard? A small victory, but I'm still down one working lawn mower, lol.
My stepdad was in town for a funeral and stopped by afterwards to take a look at it, apparently after inspection he says it has "no compression" and it's likely a clogged or sticky intake valve, so he took it home to take a look at the engine. Sucks.
The Gremlin is napping, so I'm once again toiling with the lawn mower, so I can hopefully finish mowing the front yard. I just had to go self-propelled, our old weed eater push mower always worked fine (and I thought Honda's were famous for engines, my old Accord had like 500k miles).
