A lovely last morning in Brisbane at Coffee Anthology before flying home to FNQ. Tried something a little different for breakfast, Okonomiyaki waffles with karaage chicken and a matcha latte. A delicious surprise to finish my visit.

From different corners of the country to two wonderful nights together in Brisbane. Dinner at Sushi Room at The Calile Hotel with my lovely date was such a sweet way to finish our catch up. Always worth the journey.

Last night at Black Hide Steak & Seafood at The Star Brisbane. Delicious food, a glass of wine and my date across the table. Such a lovely way to begin my Brisbane visit.

A rainy Sunday calls for a little pampering. Off to get my hair done and enjoy some time for myself before flying to Brisbane on Tuesday. Getting a little travel ready and rather excited for the week ahead.

The highlight of our last night at Undara. Thousands of tiny bats streaming out of the cave into the night sky. Quite the farewell show, and something I won’t forget.

Hundreds of butterflies fluttering around the cave entrance at Undara. Such a beautiful surprise during our visit. I could have stood there watching them all day.

Home from a little outback escape to Undrara Lava Tubes with a lovely gentleman friend. Starting with a look inside the lava caves, with more moments from our few days away still to share. There was quite a show waiting for us on the last night.

Yesterday’s little adventure was a pizza making class with a friend. Getting hands on with the dough was half the fun. The other half? You can probably guess.

Yesterday was made for unwinding. A full day of shared pampering with a lovely gentleman friend, from infrared sauna, massage and a float to dinner at my favourite local Japanese restaurant. Such a sweet way to spend the day together.

Went to Vietnam for 2 weeks. Came home to my veggie garden looking like it has been fed steroids. Some of these were young seedlings before I left. So much joy seeing this.
