Bluesky you deserve some fireflies in a cornfield. Not pictured-the young hawk chased away by robins, the enormous kale after the rain, the smell of the tomato plant leaves.

Yes because they literally ended up IN A FURNACE.
Currently watching Toy Story 3, the one where the takeaway is “be on your guard against charismatic cult leaders.”

I’m just waiting for the Fred and George Weasley rebellion with the fireworks and the shattering wall of bullshit press releases.
INBOX- Oklahoma State Supt Ryan Walters doubles down and blames media following immigration statements. "Now they want us to explain why we'd let ICE agents into schools. The answer is simple: we want to ensure that deported parents are reconnected with their children and keep families together"

There are 2 types of people at a pizza party- those who take one slice and those who take three slices. Both do so with the same concern that there might not be enough pizza to go around.

It’s only the 8th day of the year and there is no way I can sustain this level of cortisol increase over the next 357. My fight-or-flight response is the only thing I’ve truly perfected at 40.

Am I actively fighting a bear or just responding to a work email? My adrenaline knows not.

I played Minecraft with my kids for the first time this weekend and they were so pumped. It’s a good reminder for me to continue to show interest in the things they think are important, even if that means I have to head to the virtual mines.

With the new year, I’ve started a list called “Ridiculous Shit That Happened in 2025” and let me tell you that if January 1st was any indication - we’re all in for a real treat.

Mary Poppins, a beautiful story where a nanny and some parkouring chimney sweeps teach children, through the medium of witchcraft, about CLASS WAR.

Hudson, the kindergartener: “Can other families have the same last names?”

Me: “Yes.”

Hudson: “Ok but they have to be in another country, right? Or just live somewhere far from the home?”

I’m confused as to why he’s clearly ready to declare this land for the Huffman lineage.

I’m going to start needing something a bit harder than coffee in the morning to effectively manage these daily fresh horrors. Maybe sugar free Red Bull? Taking suggestions.
