My first book is coming out. I am excited to share it! I have also been asked for ways to support. Here’s some ways!

1) Paying attention and asking how you can support is *already* incredibly supportive! Thank you!

2) Share my posts and tell people about my book!
I'm in my Hyper Vigilant Burnout Era and this means that I can handle anything fate throws at me from murderous hobo robots to radioactive velociraptors but a tiny rock in my shoe will make me collapse like a sack of weeping potatoes. WHY DOESN'T THE TINY ROCK IN MY SHOE LIKE ME?

When I'm doing all the work for various publishing or community things, I sometimes have to make hard decisions. Being rude to me about it is probably not going to make me change my mind. It is much more likely to make me remember to exclude you from my deliberations faster in the future though.

Some days are made better by listening to a New Jersey punk get all Springsteen and accoustic with it. Cheers to the new Brian Fallon solo record, Not Bad for New Jersey, keeping me going with old fashioned rock n roll.

At some point you figure out that "being apolitical" in the public arts always means getting on your knees for the rich, the bigots, the fascists and authoritarians. It never means anything else, and those people are somehow never obligated to set their own politics aside on behalf of anyone else.

Today a lot of copyeditors are discovering that bestiality is not spelled the way you think it is spelled.

I am wildly amused that the still frame the preview picked makes it look like we are very seriously reviewing the quarterly performance reports while the reality involved a lot of laughing and talking about smutty Stephen King scenes we should not have been reading as preteens.

I saw a group of goths leaving a discount home goods store today, arms heavy with assorted Halloween paraphernalia, and I was just overcome with a surge of joy and affection so profound.

I love you, goths at the shopping center. May you have the best Halloween of your lives.

I really hate how phone calls and emails became the worst possible way to contact people because we collectively decided to let a small number of tech companies make or save money enabling scammers to run wild.

I don't want to alarm anyone but I updated my profile pic here. There's more lines around the eyes, and more gray in the 'stache. I blame time and everything in the world.
