I expected one battle to win everything because of the awards circuit so was prepared for the disappointment . What I can’t get comfortable with is that the themes of the movie are so relevant and social political and yet PTA and crew never mention them in acceptance speeches

For the record, I do not think it was the ballet thing. I think it was how good Michael B. Jordan is first and foremost, and how much people love the movie, and a little bit that I think Chalamet began to wear on people a lil bit well before that happened.
