Had my big jab this morning and already feeling the side effects. It’s my 39th and I hope to have many more, every 12 weeks.
For those that don’t know, this drug chemically castrates men by removing testosterone that feeds #prostatecancer
It works but the impact is grotesque!

Since I started to live with incurable cancer it’s always been a challenge to set targets.
My initial prognosis wasn’t great and it seemed unlikely that I would see my then 3 year old Grandson become a teenager. Well, today he is 13 so I wrote a blog!

I was 35 with no symptoms and no family history. A high PSA led to a biopsy and a low-risk diagnosis. I spoke with six urologists. Most recommended active surveillance.
