The EQ VAS rates current health on a scale of 0–100. So should the EQ-HWB-9 have one too?

Nazari et al. tested three potential VAS constructs - health, health and wellbeing, and quality of life.

Can AI support PROM development? 👀

Heijdra Suasnabar et al. used GPT-4o to analyse free-text responses, identifying potential EQ-5D-5L bolt-on dimensions and comparing its performance against qualitative analysis done by the research team.

Are generic preference-based HRQoL measures really worse than cancer-specific in cancer research? 🤔

Zhang et al. compared EQ-5D-5L and SF-6Dv2 against FACT-8D and QLU-C10D in 519 cancer patients.

Timeline on obtaining the EQ-5D: registration (10 minutes, with email confirmation), follow-up by EuroQol Office within 2 business days for terms and fees, signature requirements (non-commercial users sign 'terms of use'; commercial users sign 'license agreement'), and heading to the EuroQol User Portal for requested EQ-5D versions. Additional notes at the bottom highlight that EQ-5D is free for non-commercial use, and commercial users need a licensing fee and written consent for various uses.
