An AI agent emailed me offering to write an essay for me about my games for $25 USD. Who would want that?

Back in the day, when you pressed a button on a remote control it changed channels instantly. Now, you gotta navigate a labyrinth of menus where each button press takes a second. It's a horrible user experience and everyone... just puts up with it?

Blizzard was using a product I worked on in the past, so I went down to Irvine a bunch. Once, at a group lunch, someone mentioned the way corporate treated them unfairly and I said "What about a union?" and suddenly it got totally quiet. Someone said "You can't say that word." It was super awkward!
BREAKING: Blizzard union workers have ratified a historic contract that has secured guardrails around AI usage, layoff protections, remote/hybrid work benefits, and much more.

“Can be completed in 2–3 hours” is a pretty effective selling point for me.

The Galley House team is headed to Denmark right now instead of the US for our summit. I can’t support these insane tariffs or threats to annex my country. 🇨🇦

I wrote up tips for saving and loading games durably in Godot. It's stuff I wish I'd known before shipping games on PC:

Horror mixed with comedy is my Achilles heel, so of course I loved Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma.

Rolled credits on Big Walk. It’s one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had and almost certainly going to be my GOTY. Sublime.

I get very excited about new gadgets like phones and computers, but arguably the piece of tech that has most improved my life in the last decade is a bidet. I can’t believe they’re not standard in every bathroom!

I watched this excellent video over the weekend about King's Quest IV, and I was dumbstruck by how much randomness this game has involving necessary puzzles. It also asks bonkers things of the player, like to swim out into the ocean aimlessly to find an island that's not hinted at.
Tomorrow, Saturday, at 1 PM Pacific / 4 PM Eastern, I'll be premiering my King's Quest IV video. It's almost an hour and a half long! I guarantee you'll learn something new. Link will go up a couple hours beforehand.
