To unbury the lede: Why is Auckland Transport quietly removing protected bike lanes on Mt Eden Rd (a major strategic cycle route!), and claiming it's an "upgrade" to make people on bikes share the footpath with pedestrians?
Smoothing the way for buses? Fine. At cost to vulnerable road users? Nope.
