Just a new artist looking to make new artist friends preferably in their 20s and 30s as thats where I am
I got back into art & have been doing my best to learn & improve on my own but I've hit the point where I need input from others

Ater a failed attempt at social interaction ive learned i have no idea how to do that anymore.
I figured that since this is meant to be a practice account, and though this sounds silly, im going to use it to practice being social as well!
If you do not want to interact just let me know though

Its been about 2 weeks since my partner and I began slowly acclimating our cats to eachother.
One cat is doing fine. The other is....getting there

It looks like the military lied to me once again. But this time im not getting screwed over and might be able to go to college!
I....I didnt think this would ever be possible. Due to some loop holes theyre only going to pay for 2 years so now I gotta figure out if I can do anything with that time.

Saw #supergirl this weekend and absolutely adored it. It always makes me happy when they let Kara be angry and messy (as she deserves to be) but still be good. I cant wait to see more of this Supergirl and this DC universe in general.

Ok. Ive spent all week messing with different brushes and things like that but I think this is as far as I can at my current level.
Someday I may come back to do a better version of this.

A WIP! This is my practice for shading and lighting.
Before I get too into it, I was wondering if anyone had any tips. I started with a sketch, and then blocked out the lighting from bright to dim in procreate. This is my first layer of color and shading.

Here's an apple I did in procreate.
I have no idea what im doing art-wise. I feel like im flailing around learning random things.
I know i need to learn shading and color stuff but im not sure how. Like. Are there exercises?
