I support Macklemore right to say FREE PALESTINE and speaking out for Palestinian lives.
I also absolutely condemn his antisemitism. His past grotesque Jewish caricature was indefensible and I think needs to be looked at with what we are hearing now.

Almost everything you are hearing in mainstream news about the supposed lack of popularity of progressive policies on police and prisons is a lie. Shifting resources from police/punishment to social services is one of the most consistently popular policies polled for 40 years.

There are people who actually say that a voter should not vote for the person who is the less than ideal candidate in preference to the worst one because supposedly you never get progress that way. VOTING FOR THE BETTER OF THE TWO IS HOW EVERY BIT OF PROGRESS HAS EVER BEEN MADE. Sheesh.

I actually saw my Elders fired from jobs, humiliated, beaten, bombed, murdered, lynched and assassinated for the right to vote. I have a debt to pay. I repay that debt every Election Day when I vote for the candidate of my choice.
