Colonizing Mars i at this point in time is a pipe dream. We need to spend the trillions of $$ it would take to do this on finding solutions to the myriad of problems affecting earth and humanity before we think about Mars.
Humanity's next step should be to clean up the climate/environmental mess on our own planet before venturing out to do damage to another planet. Feed the children. Provide health care for all. Our priorities are in disarray.

I have to give the NFL credit for the courage to embrace a diverse line-up of entertainers for the Super Bowl. Green Day hates Trump, Brandi Carlile is gay, and of course the man event, a Puerto Rican American performing in Spanish. Is the NFL woke? Hope so!

Posting from St Croix, USVI. There are 3 KC-46 tankers on the tarmac of the STX airport. This airport has the longest runway in the Caribbean and I assume they are supporting actions against Venezuela. At ~0500 I could hear aircraft departing (jet). No commercial flights leave for hours. 1/2

Spent the morning prepping a tenderloin (not a fan of turkey) and a nice wine/mushroom sauce to accompany it. Had to open a bottle of wine for the sauce, so naturally I couldn’t waste what was left. As a result, I am in a very good mood! Happy Thanksgiving Day No to all!

Would it be legal if a working person was to change their W-4s to claim a number of dependents that would result in $0 FICA withheld? Maybe if everyone did that for a couple of payroll cycles as a protest it might get some attention. If the top 1% aren’t going to pay income tax why not?
