Why Emotionally Intelligent People Struggle Most in Toxic Workplaces
Here is something that does not get said enough: the people who feel things most deeply are usually the first ones broken by a toxic environment. Not the most brittle.

Recently I've been selling some of my grey mountain that doesn't really spark joy anymore, and with my new found funds decided to treat myself with a fresh Garden of Morr. Been on the hunt for this for a while now, very excited to do some spooky terrain building in between mini painting

Got around to taking pictures of the first finished bike squad today. I do like how they turned out but something about the scheme balance still doesn't sit 100% right with me, each model takes a little longer than I'd like too considering how many of these I have - definitely some pondering to do

Gosh, using an actual camera doesn't half make a difference does it? 😅
After much encouragement, I spent this evening with my partner tinkering and all I can say is I may finally be a convert

Overall it feels like I may have rushed these runtherders a little bit as work beckons again come Monday but pleased how they turned out - and definitely worth seeing the small gang together!

Fun little reward for me last night after spending quite a bit of time on the trukk - all these gretchin needed was a bit of skin touch up and a base pigment to match the newer scheme

Recently I decided to give revamping my orks a go, I've had this army for almost 20 years and what little is painted has been painted with long intervals in between. I really love all my little green funguses so I'm quite excited to bring a small warband up to speed again - first up, trukk!

Found this mini bit storage unit in Lidl yesterday, perfect for all the little gubbinz we acquire as hobbyers. If there's any left next time will probably grab another

Had this 'little' critter hiding in a draw for the last couple years and decided it was finally time to make a start.
Is it bigger than expected when assembled? Maybe slightly

Happy Winter Solstice. The light is coming!
This is the Holly King who is now at the peak of his powers. Fortunately his ascension is complete so we can look forward to the emergence of the Oak King and moving into the light.
From my reduction linocut ‘The Holly King versus The Oak King’.
