Excited to be at the O2 covering the Laver Cup this weekend - watching Carlos Alcaraz play tennis is a pretty cool way to spend one

After his win last night, he told me about how much he wishes he could fit more doubles into his career 👇👇

Really insightful analysis of a fascinating tactical battle.

Was so nice to watch such a high-level match between two of the top Dutch sides, can't remember the last time two of them had really strong squads and elite coaches.

Pretty happy with this move. He's not a world-class player, but easily one of the best in the Eredivisie, and his versatility is a big bonus.

Think the focus should be getting another CB and a Veerman replacement now, so kind of surprised that a striker seems to be the priority.

For all of his flaws, Joey Veerman is the player I've enjoyed watching most over the last few years. Gutted PSV are losing him, but can't wait to see how he does at Dortmund

I wrote about his incredible numbers, style of play & more 👇

So relieved about this given it looked like we'd end up with Reiziger or Martinez.

A young manager with a great knowledge of the Dutch philosophy and experience of winning major international tournaments as a player. Hell yes.
BREAKING: As per De Telegraaf, Xavi is the leading candidate for the Oranje job, and Patrick Kluivert is set to be his assistant.

It looks like we may finally have a new coach, and I'd be very happy with that outcome!

I get that the KNVB going for Van Gaal again may seem crazy from the outside, but most don't realise just how good the results were in his last two spells - he lost just two out of 37 competitive matches, & both those losses were on penalties.

Bring him back.
BREAKING: As per De Telegraaf, Louis van Gaal would be open to becoming Oranje manager again if approached by the KNVB.

Hee reportedly has no health issues now and feels better than ever.
August 3, 2026 at 12:46 PM
Can only hope this serves as a wake-up call for Earnie Stewart & PSV - they can't be heading into the season with this back four.

More is needed, but getting Geertruida in and signing Sano so Mauro can move to LB would be a good start.

Oranje's search for a coach:

Heavily linked, likely holding talks: Slot, Reiziger

Logical alternatives: Van Nistelrooy

Rumoured: Van Persie, Hasselbaink

Unlikely: Van Gaal, Wiegman

Out of contention: Guardiola, Bosz, Ten Hag, Van Bommel

Has been incredibly amusing & confusing seeing England fans confident they'd beat Argentina given it's been a carbon copy of the Southgate tournaments - stumbling through a path featuring no top sides thanks to mentality & individuals before losing to the first top side they face

Third title in a row for Bosz, won earlier than ever before with great football despite an insane amount of injuries.

Doesn't get anywhere near as much credit as Ten Hag or Slot did as he's young & trendy and doesn't pick some hyped-up talents, but he's doing incredibly at PSV.
