This!!! When I was doing commissions to pay bills and support my family my clients were my literal lifeblood. If not for my regulars I would've been flirting with utter financial ruin. Don't ever doubt the difference a commission can make, especially for small following NSFW artists!
Bought a commission today and the artist told me that I’d basically just paid their bills for the week so always remember that having artists draw porn of your favorite characters is a noble cause

If we’re being real the best way to “find your audience” as a young artist is to make a lot of stuff, post it regularly, and make it easy to find. The best way to make a lot of stuff is by creating things that are fun for you to work on so you’re motivated to keep doing it.
